My Story
Hi, I'm Elaine and I am the founder of Pet Relocation International. I have been in the international travel industry for many years, working as a business travel agent for some of the world's largest brands. However, it was not until my husband's company offered us the opportunity of working and living overseas with our family of six, along with our four dogs, that I discovered the challenges and complexities of relocating pets.
As we began planning our move, I quickly realized how expensive and difficult it was to relocate pets internationally. The travel for our pets quickly became the most challenging and stressful element of our relocation. However, my passion for travel and love for my furry family members drove me to explore all possible options. After countless hours of research and planning, we successfully moved our dogs to our new home abroad. This experience sparked a new adventure for me and I fell in love with the challenge of pet relocation.
I combined my passion for travel and experience in the industry to help other expat families navigate the complicated world of pet relocation. And so from this, Pet Relocation International was born. Today, I work with a global network of hand picked, highly trusted, logistics partners; pet handlers; customs brokers, and agents. There are very few countries that we can't move pets from or to. We always put our client's needs, and the safety and comfort of their pets, first.
With my years of experience in international travel and my firsthand knowledge of the challenges and expenses of pet relocation, I have dedicated myself to making the process as stress-free and cost effective as possible for other pet owners. Unfortunately pet travel is rarely anything less than expensive, but we are very price conscious and we are committed to providing exceptional service tailored to meet the unique needs of every client and their pets.
