In-Cabin
In-Cabin means that your pet travels with you, in the aircraft cabin.
This option is only suitable for smaller pets that can travel in a handheld soft carry-on crate.
Often this is the cheapest option for pet transport, and the easiest for the owner.
Every airline has different stipulations and requirements for pets travelling in-cabin and it is advisable that you use an experienced pet relocation agent to book everything for you to ensure a smooth and trouble free experience for you and your pet.
In-Hold
In-hold means that your pets travel in the aircraft's hold.
Your pets travel on your ticket, on the same flights. Brachycephalic (snub nosed) and dangerous breeds are prohibited from travelling in-hold.
Ailrines do restrict the number of pets that can travel on an individual booking, and also restrict the number of pets travelling on a flight in-hold.
Every airline has different stipulations and requirements for pets travelling in-hold and it is advisable that you use an experienced pet relocation agent to book everything for you to ensure a smooth and trouble free experience for you and your pet.
Cargo
Cargo means that your pets travel on a separate ticket to you. The aircraft may be regular commercial flight, or a cargo only flight. Either way, your pets will travel in a section of the aircraft specifically designed for pets.
The Cargo option is suitable for all animals, including some brachycephalic (snub nosed) breeds and dangerous breeds.
Booking your pets on cargo requires specialist knowledge and experience. Using a reliable pet relocation agent to make the booking, liaise with the airline, and prepare all documentation, is essential.
Transporting your pets as cargo may also require customs clearance both from the country you are leaving, and upon arrival. Again, this is a specialist task that we facilitate.
charter &
chaperone
Charter means that we hire a plane specifically to meet your personal needs. This option does not come cheap, but it does give our clients the maximum flexibility for their departure point, destination, and schedule. Breed and size restrictions do not apply, and this option is particularly suited to owners with pets that cannot travel on commercial flights.
Chaperone is a service that we provide for clients that want to be accompanied by an experienced traveller, or that want their pet to be accompanied on the flight. This option is suitable for owners that need additional support and assistance, and for owners that cannot travel with their pets due to other circumstances. Our chaperone service is highly personalised and specific to the client's needs.
